The Witching Hours - The Vampire KnifeAs I was looking in Dymocks my dad noticed this book had been highly recommended by one of the workers there. So I decided to give it a go.
Max is stolen by a strigoi, which is similar to a vampire. His big sister Anna has to rescue him with the help of her friend Isabella. Anna finds a mysterious knife under her bed and a banner with an eagle on it on top of her wardrobe. These will help her find her brother.
My favourite part is when Anna is being chased around the room by the strigoi.
There are some scary parts in this book but you know that it is all fake. Book 2 is already out and Book 3 is coming out on 1st August 2018.
I rate this book 9/10
